Formation Of Contract
These are the terms and conditions on which we sell all goods to you. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Automotive Technical must receive payment in full before we can accept your order, and prior to dispatch of the products, unless otherwise agreed. When you place an order, we will confirm by email that your order has been received using the email address given by you. We will send a confirmation email when the goods which you ordered have been processed and dispatched. This forms the contract between Automotive Technical and you the customer.
If we do not have the product in stock or we do not deliver to your area. We will contact you.
Automotive Technical retains the right to refuse your order.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential.
Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
In the unlikely event of an error in the price of any goods ordered we will notify you as soon as possible of the correct price before we dispatch it to you, and give you the option of accepting the new price or cancelling all or part of your order. Any goods already paid for will be refunded if you decide to cancel your order. We will treat the order as cancelled if we are unable to contact you.
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
It is the intention of Automotive Technical to at all times provide sufficient information about the products and services offered on this site as would be reasonable to fully describe the item to the extent required by the Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000. It may be from time to time that the description falls short of what the customer personally considers adequate to describe the items to the above standard. In that event the customer agrees to request further information as soon as is reasonably possible by e-mail to Automotive Technical on the address given on this site. The failure of the customer to make such request, either before or after an offer is submitted on this site to Automotive Technical, shall amount to an acknowledgement by the customer that the description on the site is adequate.
We reserve the right to modify specifications and prices without notice at any time.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to, or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.
The price of Goods does not include shipping which is displayed to you during the check out process and before you confirm your order.
Orders received on a working day will usually be dispatched within 24 hours. Because we rely on our suppliers, we cannot guarantee that goods advertised on our website are always available. In the rare case we don't have the product in stock we can usually get it within 24 hours and we will dispatch the items as soon as they come in to stock. If for any reason it is going to take more than 24 hours we will contact you.
If for any reason the parcel has been returned to Automotive Technical due to nobody being in to receive the parcel and it has not been picked up from the depot listed on the card left at the address, the customer must pay for the charges incurred to Automotive Technical for sending the parcel back to Automotive Technical and pay postage and packaging charges for the parcel to be resent out to you. With no exceptions.
We reserve the right to refuse to deliver any goods ordered if you live in a country we do not serve.
We offer a 28-day money back guarantee on all goods. If you need to return an item please notify us within 24 hours, we will always do our best to deal with any issues responsibly and fairly. For non-defective goods the buyer will be responsible for the return postage and packaging charges at their expense. Non-defective goods can only be accepted for return if they are unopened and in their original, unused condition. We reserve the right to deduct the appropriate handling charges or reduce the refund amount to reflect any damage or reduction in value of the goods as a result of incorrect handling or damage. If a parcel is returned to us due to being refused, a £10 fee will be deducted from your refund, minus delivery costs.
Before returning your item(s) please complete the returns online form for authorisation prior to the goods being returned. The cost of returning the goods will be your full responsibility.
It is our aim that every item arrives in perfect condition, but should you receive faulty or damaged goods they should be returned to us within 14 days at the buyers expense and, subject to inspection and confirmation that the item is defective, we will either replace the item or issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. We will be happy to refund the postage charges incurred in returning the item to us. If a faster service or a more expensive method of postage is used to return the item, we will only refund the least expensive delivery option it would have cost to send the item back to us and you will need to cover the difference. Goods that arrive damaged in transit should be signed for as either damaged or unchecked.
In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong order, please notify us within 24 hours. The item should be returned to us in the same condition you received it and we will send a replacement and also refund the minimum postage charges we require to return the item to us.
Automotive Technical will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit. Please ensure that your return package is packed and sealed securely, in the original packaging if possible, and the insurance cover option is taken where possible when returning any item.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 14 days of delivery. To cancel this contract, please complete the returns online form so your request can be processed. All products must be returned in the original packaging and can only be accepted for return if they are unopened and in their original, unused condition.
All costs relating to return shipping of correctly supplied goods shall be the responsibility of the purchaser, unless the item supplied was not the correct item due to an error on our part, or the item is defective.
All goods are sold with the understanding that they will be fitted by a qualified experienced person equipped with the relevant tools necessary to fit the parts correctly.
Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of, or access to our website or the service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
